We have a special one-day program has been designed for parents.

You will be staying overnight - be sure to bring a sleeping bag or blanket, toiletries, bath linens, comfortable clothes and an alarm clock.
It is important that you respond by the deadline of June 4th so we can adequately prepare for your stay on campus!
The Nichols College Orientation program is designed to assist you, the new student, in obtaining the best possible start to your college education.
During Orientation, you will meet other members of the Class of 2014, register for classes for the fall semester, and mingle with representatives from the faculty, staff, administration, and student body. You will also learn about academic life, opportunities for involvement in student organizations and athletics, and other services provided by the college.
We ask that all new students attend the Orientation program in June because it offers an important experience for all participants. Our hope is that it will better prepare you for r your adjustment to college and serve to enhance your stay at Nichols. There are three overnight sessions that you may choose from: Session A - Monday, June 21st to Tuesday, June 22nd; Session B - Thursday, June 24th - Friday, June 25th; or Session C - Monday, June 28th to Tuesday, June 29th. Transfer students may choose to attend any of the overnight sessions in June or the one-day Transfer Orientation Session D - Monday, July 19th.
Due to facility limitations, requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
While attending Orientation in June, you will stay in Shamie Hall (triple occupancy - we will match roomates for the program). Staying overnight is a requirement of the program. You must bring a sleeping bag or blanket, bath linens, toiletries, comfortable clothes, and and alarm clock. This is a great opportunity to experience on-campus living first-hand and to check out where you might be living next year! For those of you who plan to commute in the fall, you will have the chance to meet and spend time with your classmates.
