Nichols Merit Scholarships are awarded to full-time incoming students based on their high school or prior college achievement. A combination of factors including SAT scores and cumulative grade point average are used to determine the amount awarded in the Nichols Merit program. The FAFSA is not required for consideration of merit scholarships.
Scholarships are renewable each year as long as students maintain satisfactory progress, maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and continue to be enrolled full-time. All Scholarships consider leadership, motivation, employment and extracurricular activities. The merit scholarships for the incoming class of 2009-2010 are listed below. Amounts shown are for a full year; half will be paid to eligible students each semester (excluding summer).
