Federal Work Study is a program co-sponsored by the federal government and the college. After a student applies for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), some students will be awarded Federal Work Study as one of the items on their award notice. Only full-time day students are eligible to participate in the Nichols College student employment programs.
Please stop by the Financial Aid Office to pick up your pink work-study packet. Once you have been hired, you will need to present this packet to your supervisor. You will then present it to the Payroll Office along with your form(s) of identification.
If you do not qualify for work-study, you may still be able to work on campus. Some positions on campus are classified as non-Work-Study, to which anyone can apply.
Make sure to visit the Jobs Board posted in the Office of Career Services to see current, open positions on campus. The Jobs Board lists both Work-Study and non-Work-Study positions.
