Dear Residents:

Welcome to the Nichols residential community!  I look forward to working with you to make this a memorable year.

This year we will continue with our staff theme - STARS, Students Teaching And Respecting Students. This theme speaks to my philosophy regarding students, student development and the year ahead. It asserts that many of you will learn from each other and I hope this will be a positive experience for you all.

The professional staff and I are pleased to present many talented and enthusiastic RA's that will help you throughout the year. The RDs are also here to help ensure that your year is filled with excitement and fun, while providing communities you can effectively sleep and study in. You will hear many of us challenging you to step outside your comfort zone and explore new cultures, ethnicity and beliefs. This can be a wonderful time of discovery, about yourself and others, and I truly appreciate the privilege of working with you during this time.

I look forward to meeting many of you and if you see me, please feel free to stop and chat. I hope to learn all of your names and become a resource for you throughout your career here at Nichols. You will see me walking throughout our community and asking many of you how we can make it even better. So, I welcome your suggestions and hope to hear from you all.
