MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT &
DEAN OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Dr. Alan Reinhardt

The Nichols' mission - to provide tomorrow's leaders with a relevant education - has established a model in business education which gives you, our students, the tools and confidence to transform yourselves.

Your success is our #1 priority. Many of you chose Nichols because of the reputation of our approachable, business-savvy faculty. They are dedicated to your growth and committed to helping you turn your life around, 180 degrees if you want.

We expect many of our business majors to intern at top-tier venues, including Madison Square Garden, the Boston Red Soxs, Abbott Labs, and MTV...just to name a few! Well-placed internships give our students a network of contacts and a stellar work portfolio to position for future employment opportunities.

Academically, Nichols programs are increasingly emphasizing leadership and scholarly activities surrounding global issues. So, in your classes, expect to be engaged in issues that have ethical and global perspectives. And this year, Nichols students will have an opportunity to travel to China to see international business first hand.

For our many adult learners, we offer a unique teaching and learning model that includes a traditional classroom setting, online distance learning, or a combination of both. Our technology makes it easy to access course work, register, view grades and track your account ...at any time. You can expect that relevant classroom discussions and case studies will be major catalysts for learning.

My responsibility as Dean of Academic Affairs is to support your learning with quality educational programs that enhance your future endeavors, and in this role, I strongly urge you to seize the many opportunities you will be given to cultivate and define your world on, and off, the Hill.
